The Derby City Comedy Festival seeks to honor and reward the artists that most personify The Art of Comedy.

The brainchild of Steve Hofstetter, the Derby City Comedy Festival features a five-day event in Louisville. Comedy industry from all over the US and Canada will participate to help find, expose, and give work to some of today's top emerging comedians.

While the week will feature amazing ensemble shows at the Laughing Derby, the core of the festival is shows all over Louisville. Pop-up shows at unique art spaces, theaters, music venues, and even fast food restaurants will showcase everything cool about Louisville to the comedians, and everything cool about the comedians to Louisville.
